The Yolo County Farm Bureau
Education Corporation Charlie Rominger Memorial Scholarship was created in memory of Charlie Rominger. Charlie was a long-time Director of the Yolo County Farm Bureau and served as the Chair of the Taxes and Land Use Committee Chair. He worked very hard to protect and preserve Yolo County's agricultural lands.
This scholarship is designed to give aid to students with a desire to pursue a career in the
agricultural industry.
This $1,500
scholarship is awarded based upon academic achievement, career goals,
extracurricular activities, determination, leadership skills, and a commitment
to study agriculture.
Yolo County High School
seniors entering a four-year accredited college or university or a Junior
College AND pursuing a career in the agricultural industry are eligible to
apply for this scholarship. Students must be a resident of the State of
California and a US citizen.
The application deadline is April 19, 2024.
